Hi! I'm Rich a Hot Sauce enthusiast just like you.
I love heat but also want flavour, I was sick of vinegar based heat first sauces obsessed with scoville scale but lacked any real flavour.
So I started Legendary to make sauces that I liked, that have heat to suit everyone but are flavour first!
What we stand for
Flavour first
Heat means nothing without it. We build every sauce around the character of the chilli, not the scoville number.
Small batch, no shortcuts
Handcrafted in tiny runs with locally sourced fruit and chillies. When a batch sells out, we make the next one properly.
Heat for everyone
Mild to extreme, there's a Legendary sauce for every table, not just the chilli-heads.

WHERE IT BEGAN
I'm a lifelong spice fan and self‑taught cook based in Cumbria, UK. When Covid closed my café’s doors, I turned my kitchen into a flavour lab, experimenting with fruit‑forward, small‑batch chilli sauces.
What began as a passion project became Legendary Sauce Co., a family‑run brand committed to crafting artisan hot sauce that puts flavour first. Today, we blend local ingredients, creativity, and care to deliver Award‑winning British Hot Sauce to spice lovers everywhere.
Too many chilli sauces rely on vinegar to punch above their weight.
At Legendary Sauce Co. we wanted to create a UK Hot Sauce that used the natural complexity of each chilli.
